MARINE BOMBING SQUADRON FOUR-THIRTEEN

SQUADRON LOG BOOK

COMMENTS:
I am the niece of 1st Lt. Ralph Milton (Smokey} Jones. He was a member of the 413-VMB Bomber Squadron. The picture of his plane going down was devastating yet it gave me such closure at the same time. I remember so well the night we received news of Uncle Smokey's death. Thank you for all the research that has been done.
I would also like to add that Killeen is the hometown of one of Doolittle Raiders, Robert Gray. I am also the widow of a retired M/SGT. USA
A.C. Ford Sr.
Thank you again

Something I have thought about for over 10 years. Thanks for starting the website. My dad (Willie B. Tucker) was a tail gunner in George Barlow's crew. I have attended several reunions and will forever be grateful to the vetrans that took time to provide me with information about the squadron and my dad. Thank You !
Each of you are very special to me.
Bill
